The problem I have is this: there were so many bad components last year, its hard to say what was good. Maybe one of those QBs is actually good but the problems with the system, WRs, etc made it impossible to tell. Same goes for WRs. It’s possible some of them are actually good and our QBs just couldn’t make the right read fast enough to put the ball in their hands on time. I recall many plays where a WR made a great break to get open with a clean window and ball never came to him or it was well behind him. I also remember a lot of QBs running for their lives.
Then again I also remember Tanner sitting in a clean pocket and throwing to no one after 3 seconds…a lot.
What was good and what was bad? vs What just looked bad?
I’m guessing next season will have a lot of surprises.
