Hello to Everyone

Hello,

Yes, I had a coworker from Hyderabad. We commuted together for a year or so. Very nice fellow along with all the other Indians I’ve met.

Am I interested in politics? Well, it depends. If it involves mostly saying bad things about others not from you party, no I’m not. If it involves people trying to work together to solve problems, then yes. That is what our founding fathers did.

I’m mostly on this site to talk about BYU sports.

SG: They did? Like how? Bribes? Yes…the Lord had a big hand in the Constitution being drawn up the way it was.

If you spend time looking at the Declaration of Independence, you’ll notice a number of items that where crossed out so they could get a unified vote by all 13 colonies. One of the items crossed out was the abolishment of slavery. To the founders, it was more important for them to be United than to continue to force an issue that would have divided a founding country. They did have to take care of this about 87 years later.

As far as I know. No known bribes were made at that time

Far as you know. You were there, right? :grimacing:

Right there with you.

It was taught in American Heritage 100 at BYU.

I’ll then have to get a second opinion :innocent:

Hi Sumit and welcome to the board. I’ll weigh in on Hillary. My back ground has a military connection. I have had many classified briefings, seen classified material and used classified communication systems. From a standpoint as to how she has conducted herself as Sec of State. She is a huge liar and should be in jail. I also know a little about a place called Bengazi. She has blood on her hands, in my opinion. That United States Constitution is a most sacred document and living by its precepts is the guidelines for us to maintain our freedom. It will be nice to hear from you to get a feel for your perspective on subjects. Again Welcome
Jeff

Hi jeff,

Weclome to the board. May be you are right about Hillary. I don.t know very much about her. Then in your opinion who will be the next President of USA?

There are just too many variables at this point to predict. SCOTUS Scalia’s death puts a new twist on the election. If people value freedom, they will not vote for a democrat. On the other hand, we don’t know if Trump will lead as a conservative if elected. In the last debate, the only adult on stage was Dr, Carson.
On the other side, you have socialists and one is a communist in my opinion.

All of your comments are simply conjecture of conspiracy… do you have proof of any of the things you are saying? Where are the faxes and emails and proof that anything you say is happening or will happen? :smirk:

Yes, we have Sanders stating he is a democratic socialist which can mean fascist as was Hitler. Hillary stated she is a democratic progressive. Same thing…
Trump has stated liberal things only a couple of years ago.
As far as Dr. Carson being the only adult in the room, the childish bickering was out in the open. It is still going on every day on TV.

You only see what you want to see based on your preconceived bias about who believes what. You think that all democrats are a certain way and you believe that republicans are the only right choice… therefore that is all you can see and you look for evidence to support your conspiratiorial perspective.

I was just quoting Sanders and Clinton. No preconceived ideas needed for that. That’s audio-visual fact.

As far as democrats, most of them are lock step with those two and Obama. I’m hoping 20% who are Reagan Democrats will vote Republican.

Hi,

I think popularity of Obama plays key role for the democratic. Do you think so.

The Democratic Party has become inclusive for only left wing liberals. That’s who likes Obama.
