Sitake got a gem in this kid. big…240 lbs. of steamroller coming at you but if you look at the highlights, he is Explosive to the hole and Nimble at making tackle after tackle miss. Everything is forward and little wasted energy. Relays on his low center of gravity when guys try to take him down, too much muscle from the hips down to arm tackle. Fast enough to outrun all but the quickest DBs. Instincts you just can’t teach

How he ever got by the SEC and Pac 12, I will never know other than Sitake did a phenomenal job at recruiting him.
This kid could rewrite some BYU records while here. I have not seen any footage on his ball catching but then that did not show Williams, now did it?

Think Earl Campbell with speed.

Is he going on a mission first or playing?

According to this year roster. Look like he is playing.
And he is a return missionary. He was going to play for Wisconsin.

The videos were impressive. But, we don’t know what the level of competition he was playing against. He definately knows how and what holes to hit. His vision looks superior and if he’s shaken off the mission rust he should start.

He looks impressive in the highlights and with the help and instruction from an excellent coaching staff, support of teammates and fans, opportunities to improve his skills by playing against quality opponents, he could well become another BYU legend. One more reason to be excited about Cougar football this year.
