The Safety is the QB of the defense. He calls the defenses and he is free to cover the pass or be the final stop in the run game.
One word for this group is “Loaded”. Loaded with experience, think Hannemann-Jacobson, and loaded with talent, think Chaz Ah You, a 5 star athlete that arriaved by helicopter. Sr Greene, a tranfer from WSU, has 4.5 speed and should see some time. Sr Hadley will double as our kick off returner as well as saftie.
Speed and physicallity are going to be words we use with this group. I don’t see any weak links anywhere in the corners or our safties. If our Dline can be reasonably good, BYU should be better than their stingy defense of 2016. Kind of scarery for other teams.
