Boise St as a case study

This is an interesting read:

It contradicts a few of my ideas about how BYU can or should proceed strategically speaking.

How could we adapt their ideas to us?

It’s. All about money. Never forget

We could market our team in similar ways. But more money would make life easier for sure.

Boise didn’t have more money than BYU during those formative years and they still don’t today. It is all about coaching and talent evaluation and detailed organization within the coaching ranks. BYU needs to look inside the programs roots for those ex players and or Grad Assist people who are inventive and want to stay within the system. Really, some coaches just have the inborn ability to coach and evaluate talent. We have to discover and locate those people and that job is mainly Tom Holmoes to perform.
